I am a non-U.S. citizen and I don’t have a co-signer. Can I get a personal loan in the U.S.?

    Yes, now you absolutely can.

    It has been extremely difficult to get loans without credit history from banks and other financial institutions because of their reliance on credit score. A new set of companies (including ours) have been growing that are looking at individuals through a different lens than their credit score. The companies that give loans to people without credit score charge really high rates up to 400% (pay day loans) or near 36% if you have some credit history.

    A credit score is a rear view mirror but new companies are looking at the future.
