Yes, you are allowed to trade Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies while on H-4 visa in the US. In fact, all people living in the US, including non-immigrants, immigrants, permanent residents, and the U.S.A citizens are all allowed to buy and sell cryptocurrencies. However, you need to be very careful in buying and selling Bitcoins. As an H-4 visa holder, you are not allowed to engage in any type of employment or business, unless you have an Employment Authorization Document. Without an EAD, you cannot be involved in any activity that will give you salary or wage. Trading Bitcoins regularly might be seen as job or work. Ensure that you will appear as just a passive investor of cryptocurrencies.
It would be much better if you find a US citizen or Permanent Resident relative that you can trust to do the Bitcoin trading for you. The reason for this is because you might get the attention of the USCIS and get your visa revoked.
