    L-1A visa is a nonimmigrant visa for executives and managers of an international company which enables them to get transferred to the U.S. branch. The visa also lets the international company bring executives and managers to the U.S. to set up an office if there isn’t one yet. L-1A visa has the following benefits:

    1. The visa allows new office or branch to be established in the US.
    2. It allows an initial stay of one year in the US for managers and executives.
    3. Qualified employees can be given up to three years of stay in the US.
    4. Extensions can be applied for in increments of two years. The limit of L-1A visa duration is 7 years.
    5. L-1A visa holders are allowed to bring their families with them with an L-2 visa.
    6. The spouses of L-1A visa holders can work while staying in the US.
