Yes, TN visa holders are entitled to working benefits such as vacation, sickness and emergency leaves. They can also have bonuses and incentives if stipulated in their contract. They should also be given severance payment when laid-off and should be give return tickets to Canada or Mexico after termination. If you have Social Security contributions, you can also qualify for benefits even if you have been terminated. Ask your corresponding Social Security office in Mexico or Canada how you can claim your contributions.
However, Canadian TN workers are may be exempt from paying Social Security tax in the US because of the Totalization Agreement. If you claimed this exemption and receive a Certificate of Coverage from Canadian Social Security Office, then you may no longer receive social security benefits for the time that you worked in the US.
